Tourism Tax (Not Included in Package Rates)

• Please be informed that effective 1 September 2017 a tourism tax of RM10.00 per room per night applies to all foreigners staying at tourist accommodation premises.
• Payment is to be made during check-out at Rawa Island Resort.

Permitted activities on Pulau Rawa:
- Kindly note that as resort is located within the Sultan Iskandar Marine Park, we would like to remind guests that fishing, jet-skiing, and littering are activities which strictly prohibited on the island. Resort do offer a comprehensive range of sea sport activities with extra charges, including kayaking, scuba-diving, and hobby-cat sailing.

- Due to boat schedule is subject to change from month to month based on sea tide level, we will advise the scheduled speedboat departure time upon confirmation of your booking.
- Resort speedboats have a maximum passenger capacity for safety reasons and the seats on each catamaran are allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- The resort has the right to reschedule or cancel the boat schedule last minutes due to sea, weather and tide conditions.
- If guest not arrived at scheduled time, there would be additional cost of MYR 615 per charter boat per way (if the tide condition permits).

Latest Check Out: 12:00 pm - Bag storage and change facilities are available for guests departing on the last boat.

Meal Schedule:
Breakfast: 8:00 am to 10:00 am / Lunch: 12:30 pm to 2.30 pm / Dinner: 7.00 pm to 9.00pm (Saturday 7.30PM to 9.00PM)

Food / drinks:
- As there are no cooking facilities available in their rooms, guests are politely reminded not to bring any outside food or drink onto the island.
- Corkage is chargeable on all alcohol brought to the island. Corkage Fee (Pay at Mersing Office / Reception Counter at Rawa Island Resort).

• Secured car parking facilities are available at our Mersing office at a cost of RM15 per day per car.
